The Apostle
Paul writes in his letter to the Corinthians, "Now
he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will
also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge
the harvest of your righteousness. You will be made rich
in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion,
and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving
to God."
Not every one can go to the jail or visit an inmate's
family or disciple and mentor an ex offender. But we all
can join together through prayer and the ministry of CPO
to fulfil the call that Jesus gave when He said, "...I
was hungry and you gave me something to eat. I was thirsty
and you gave me something to drink. I was a stranger and
you invited me in. I needed clothes and you clothed me.
I was sick and you looked after me. I was in prison and
you came to visit me." Matthew 25:35-36 |
