Latricia was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. Since she was a child, she took her education seriously. She first attended St. Elizabeth elementary school, then Whitney Young Magnet High School and received her Bachelors degree from the University of Chicago in Psychology. ]

Her initial aspirations were to be a pediatrician. However, God had different plans. Upon graduation, Latricia started working in education, serving in turnaround schools. Having always been passionate about education and children, working in schools to help underprivileged children was a natural fit. Her work in operations, helped underperforming schools make a complete turnaround. From recruitment and staffing, to financial oversight, to overall administration, her goal has always been to create a culture of excellence that permeates every aspect of a child’s educational experience.

Latricia is the Vocational Director of the Outreach Career Center of Chicagoland Prison Outreach. Her main role is to build upon and expand the amazing vocational program that has transformed so many lives.

Latricia accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior when she was a child and has faithfully served in ministry for 20 years. While she has had her own share of obstacles, trials, and struggles, she is fully committed to walk in her God-given purpose.

When she is not working, Latricia loves to read, watch suspense/thriller movies, dance, and complete puzzles. She loves breakfast and Italian cuisines and loves to travel. Her primary purpose in life is to live, love, and walk in purpose every single day.
